I’ve been wanting to add some fun little freebies to Butt Knits.  I’ve added a fun and quick two color dishcloth to the Fun Freebies page this morning.  It can of course be worked in any colors you choose.  I worked it up in fall colors.  The brown & orange make me think of pumpkin pie - yummo!

This cloth is easy and will be just fine for a begining knitter.  The only possibly unfamiliar abbreviations are “wyif” and “wyib”.  These mean “with yarn in front” and “with yarn in back” respectively.  As the pattern directs, when you slip a stitch you will have your working yarn either at the front or the back of the work.  It’s really easy to figure out and makes a very fun and easy two color pattern with some texture.  I hope you enjoy the pattern! I always love to see pictures of what you make with my patterns.

I’ve tried to get a good picture of the ladybugs living in our bathroom but all of my pictures look blurry.  I’ve never had ladybugs in my house before.  Slowly our little crowd of ladybugs is growing.  I asked our realtor about it since we saw ladybugs in most of the homes we’ve looked at.  She said she doesn’t know how or why but that they show up every year.  Maybe ladybugs like to be warm in the cooler months.

Our home in Montana has not sold yet.  We’re anxious for it to sell so that we can begin a home search here in earnest.  Especially now that we’re going to be welcoming another baby sometime next spring. That’s right - our fifth child is on his or her way! We’re very excited about this although we’re also still in a bit of shock. Our youngest is just 13 mo.

On the DiaperKit front, we’ll be having the Turkey Hunt Sale again this year.  We had a lot of fun last November hiding images of turkeys on the site.  Each turkey had a sign with a discount code on it and each code was worth a different amount.  I’m going to have the same type of sale on Butt Knits too. Maybe some turkeys with knitting needles, or …
